Board of Directors

Robert H. Croak
photo Robert H. Croak, President and Chairman of the Board of First National Bank, is the second generation of the Croak family to be involved with the banking industry. He began his banking career at American State Bank in 1954. In 1962, the toggler name of the bank was changed to First National Bank of Midwest City by his father, Henry Croak. Robert continued to work in various positions at the bank gaining a solid base of knowledge and experience that would help him guide the bank into the new millennium. He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1959 and continued his education by receiving his Bachelor of Arts Finance/Commercial Law degree from the University of Oklahoma. He has also received numerous certifications and awards from various financial based schools and organizations. Robert takes a very active stance in many Mid/ Del civic organizations. He has been a member of the Midwest City Rotary since 1963 and has served as a board member for Midwest City Rotary, Midwest City Chamber of Commerce, Wickline United Methodist Church, Tinker YMCA and currently serves as a trustee of the Rose State College Scholarship Foundation. He also served on the Board of Directors of Bankers Bank of Oklahoma for 6 years. The Oklahoma Bankers Association recognized Robert for "50 years in Oklahoma Banking" in May 2004. He was appointed as a Regent for Rose State College in 1993 by the Governor of Oklahoma and has served 2 terms as Chairman of the Rose State College Board of Regents. Robert and his wife, Linda, have been married for 46 years and reside in Midwest City. They have three children, William H. Croak, John R. Croak and Shelly E. Croak and are very proud to have six grandchildren.
Michael Terry Anderson, M.D.
photo Michael Terry Anderson, M.D. is a Midwest City family physician associated with Midwest Medical Group and he is a former chief of staff at Midwest Regional Medical Center and now serves on the hospital's Board of Trustees. He was graduated from Oklahoma City University and The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He is a member of Wickline United Methodist Church and spends some of his spare time doing missions work. He and his family reside in Eastern Oklahoma County. He joined the Board in 2004.
Tim Ballard
photo Tim Ballard has been in banking since 1978 and with First National Bank since 1990. He is currently Senior Vice-President of the Human Resources Division at FNB. He earned a Banking and Finance degree from Rose State College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Management of Human Resources as well as a Master of Science in Management degree from Southern Nazarene University. He serves on the Business and Industry Advisory Board of the Mid-Del Technology Center, the Business Division Advisory Board of Rose State College and is Chairman of the Human Resources Committee of the Central Oklahoma Clearing House Association. He is active in several local community organizations and is a member of the Midwest City Optimist Club. Mr. Ballard also contributes to the community by teaching several business and legal courses as an Adjunct Professor at Rose State College. He and his family reside in Eastern Oklahoma County.
Joe B. Barnes
photo Joe B. Barnes is a long-time Midwest City resident. He was elected to the Board in 1996. He served in the U.S. Navy and was employed by FNB from 1964-1968. He left FNB as Vice President to operate personally owned businesses. He was appointed Oklahoma County Treasurer and served for 17 years. He is currently a small business owner and real estate investor. He and his wife have two grown children, four grandchildren and reside in Midwest City.
Dave Bryan
photo Dave Bryan joined FNB in 1976 as a teller and from there was promoted to the position of Auditor in 1978. Dave also serves as the Comptroller of the bank. He is currently a Senior Vice-President and Division Manager of the Operations unit. He also serves on the President's Advisory Committee and on the Board of Directors for FNB; and Mid-Del Youth & Family Center Board. He was graduated from The University of Oklahoma and Southern Nazarene University. He also is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking and BAI Graduate School of Bank Operations and Technology. He resides in Eastern Oklahoma County and has one daughter. He joined the Board in 1993.
Allen Clark
photo Allen Clark is owner of Clark Construction, Inc., a general contracting company. He was elected to the Board in 2004. He was graduated from Star Spencer High School and attended Rose State College. He is involved with the Chambers of Commerce in Midwest City, Del City and Oklahoma City and is a member of Rose State College Foundation Board and the Tinker Leadership Council. He volunteers with Mission Mid-Del. He and his family reside in Oklahoma City.
Robert J. Conner
photo Robert J. Conner served on the Board from 1996 until he was transferred to Wright-Patterson Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio in 2004. He is returning to FNB's Board after retiring from Senior Executive Service at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base. Mr. Conner and his wife Marsha reside in Edmond where he is a consultant with Aero Versant Solutions LLC in Edmond.
John R. Croak
photo John R. Croak has been around FNB most of his life as well. He is the third generation of Croaks to be employed by the bank that his grandfather, Henry, purchased in 1954. John was born and raised in Midwest City where he graduated from Midwest City High School in 1985. He is also a 1990 graduate of The University of Oklahoma where he received a B.A. in Communication. He furthered his education through the Oklahoma Bankers Association receiving degrees in Basic Banking, Consumer Lending and Commercial Lending. As a third generation Banker, John began his career at FNB in 1983. John has worked in various capacities for First National Bank, ranging from an entry-level position as a courier to managing a Branch. He was elected to the Board in 1997. In early 2002 John began working within the Bank's Central Credit Division. John is now Senior Vice President and Manager of the Central Credit Division and a member of the First National Bank Board. John is active within the community through the YMCA, Midwest City High School Museum and Wickline Methodist Church. John and his wife Heather have two children and live in Oklahoma City.
William H. Croak
photo William H. Croak has been around FNB most of his life. He is the third generation of Croaks to be employed by the bank that his grandfather, Henry, purchased in 1954. He was born and raised in Midwest City and graduated from Midwest City High School in 1982. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Science in 1989 from The University of Central Oklahoma. He attended OBA Banking School at Oklahoma State University, Bank Marketing School at The University of Houston and OBA Financial Statement Analysis. He was also a member of the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 1990. After a variety of positions at FNB, Bill is now the Senior Vice President/Division Manager of Sales and Service. He serves as a member and secretary of the bank's Board of Directors. He is deeply involved in his community and church activities. He served as 1996 MWC Chamber of Commerce Chairman of the Board and a member of the Wickline United Methodist Men. Other civic duties include City of MWC Golf Board, MWC Rotary, and membership in the Del City and Choctaw Chambers of Commerce. He is a member of the Bank Marketing Association, Oklahoma Bankers Association and American Marketing Association. He and his wife Sherri have three children and reside in Eastern Oklahoma County. He joined the Board in 1995.
Brad T. Croy
photo Brad T. Croy is the Operations Manager at CMP Corporation in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Del City High School and was a member of the class of 2001 at Oklahoma State University with a major in Business Management and a minor in Marketing and International Business. Mr. Croy has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. He is Honorary Commander of Tinker Air Force Base and a member of Golden Key National Honor Society. He enjoys investing in Real Estate and traveling as much as possible. Mr. Croy and his wife, Acacia, reside in Moore.
William "Pete" Dowling
photo William "Pete" Dowling began his banking career in 1959 and was president of United Bank in Del City beginning in 1989. He retired from banking in 1996 and worked for Bentley Turf Farms and Banker Personnel until a second retirement in 2001. He currently serves as a consultant for FNB in Commercial Underwriting and was elected to the Board in 1997. He and his wife, Linda have four children and reside in Burneyville, OK.
Royce A. Hinkle, Jr. M.D.
photo Royce A. Hinkle, Jr. M.D. is actively practicing medicine in Midwest City. Dr. Hinkle resides in Eastern Oklahoma County. He was elected to the Board in 1987.
Henry E. Laakman, Jr.
photo Henry E. Laakman, Jr. is a retired Colonel in the U.S. Air Force with 26 years of service. He is now employed by The Boeing Company in the Product Support Division as Program Manager for the KC-135 Long Range Improvement Program. He was graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1968 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. He has an MA degree from Webster University and a MS degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology. He is an active member of the Midwest City Rotary Club and serves on the Board of Directors for the Omniplex. Hank has two grown children and resides in Midwest City. He joined the Board in 1995.
John Lassiter
photo John Lassiter is a long-time area businessman who owns Lassiter Drugs in Del City. He was graduated from Midwest City High School and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He is active in several pharmacists' associations and the Del City Chamber of Commerce. He and his family reside in Moore. He was elected to the Board in 2004.
Ed Porter
photo Ed Porter is a local commercial/real estate broker who owns Porter Investment Company, Realtors. He was graduated from Northeast High School, The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Administration as well as certifications in real estate and mortgage banking from Southern Methodist University and Northwestern University, respectively. He is involved with numerous civic organizations where he has held various offices. He and his family reside in Edmond. He was elected to the Board in 2004.
Virgil W. Tague
photo Virgil W. Tague is a retired banker, U.S. Army veteran, and currently invests in real estate. He was graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Major in Accounting and a Minor in Finance and attended Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. He began his banking career at Federal National Bank in Shawnee in 1951, was state bank examiner from 1959-1964, Del State Bank President until retirement in 1981. He joined FNB in 1985 until 1995. He is a member and Past President of Del City Kiwanis, Del City Chamber of Commerce, Rose State Foundation Board of Trustees and various other civic groups He and his wife, Sally have two grown boys and two grandchildren and live in Del City and are members of Meadowood Baptist Church. He was elected to the Board in 1995.
Monica Amis Wittrock
photo Monica Amis Wittrock is an attorney who began her career in private practice representing primarily banks and thrift institutions. She is now in corporate practice as state counsel and underwriter for a national title company. She graduated from Midwest City High School in 1975 and attended Oklahoma State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree, the University of Oklahoma and received a juris doctor degree, and Southern Methodist University for additional training in tax and estate planning. She is involved in various civic organizations in the Oklahoma City area and is a frequent speaker for the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma Land Title Association, and is the author of several publications. She grew up around banking as her father, Robert Amis, had a long-time association with FNB as President until 1986. She lives in northwestern Oklahoma County with her husband, Kevin, and two children. She was elected to the Board in 1995.
